Join us at the art studio of San Diego artist Melissa Walter, an abstract artist of geometric shapes in balance, often mimicking the structures of astrophysical objects. Her work is characterized by line, symmetry, and an obsessive dot-work shading technique. During the studio visit, Melissa will share her artistic process, discuss how she became an artist, and what continues to inspire her.

Though it is not required to purchase work at each studio visit, our purpose is to make a financial investment in our local art economy and we highly encourage it. We have a suggested donation cost of $15, which will go directly to the artist we are visiting if no artwork is purchased. If you purchase artwork, you can use your donation towards the artwork cost.
