FB Event:

The Advocacy Committee is committed to actively bringing arts awareness to the greater San Diego community, and providing opportunities for local arts practitioners. RALSD defines advocacy as a way to empower, educate, and strengthen our roles in the arts.

The inaugural 2017 RALSD Arts Advocacy Studio Visit focused on giving a local artist a platform to share their work. This year, the studio visit will be expanded in scope to focus on introducing 3 pairs of arts professionals (an artist and a curator/historian/art writer) to each other as well as to the public.

The goal is to facilitate a relationship that might lead to professional collaboration beyond the scope of the call.
